Ness Wood is an award-winning picture book and fiction designer and art director and she has worked for many

major publishers.

Her wide-ranging accomplishments in practical design with qualifications in design history serve as a solid foundation

for all her work.

She is known for her encouraging, straightforward and collaborative approach with illustrators and students.

Ness has been a judge for the Bologna Ragazzi Award at the Bologna Book Fair, and is a Leader in Residence for UCLAN.

Ness gives lectures in universities and colleges on children’s book illustration, childrens book design and publishing. If you would like her to talk to your students please get in touch.
